Who runs this, and what this covers

This notice covers the Poker player client (platform login and registration, lobby, real-score cash tables, account and wallet pages) and the platform servers behind it. Player accounts, score balances, deposit/withdrawal requests and table records are stored and processed by the platform operator.

The web client is a modified build of the open-source PokerTH Web Client (GNU AGPL v3); source authors, licences and asset credits stay listed on the About page. PokerTH itself is released under the GNU GPL.

What stays in your browser

Interface settings (theme, seats, shortcuts, language, display units), player notes and colour tags, achievements and local statistics, local debug logs, and any hand history you export are kept in your browser. This deployment does not sync them to the server. Clearing your browser data or using Restore defaults removes them. Exported hand history or backup files are no longer covered by this notice once they leave your browser.

What the platform server stores

• Account: username, password (stored only as an Argon2id one-way hash), nickname, avatar choice, registration time and account status. Registration needs no email address or phone number, and no identity documents are collected.
• Login and sessions: a random session cookie is issued at login and the server keeps only its hash; a session lasts at most 24 hours and expires after 30 minutes of inactivity, and logging in again replaces the previous session. The server reduces the browser string to a coarse device label (for example “macOS · Chrome”) instead of storing the full user agent, and rate-limits logins by a salted hash of the IP address: those rows are deleted within 24 hours and no raw IP address is stored.
• Balance and ledger: available score, table escrow and withdrawal hold, plus one ledger record for every score movement. Ledger records cannot be edited or deleted; a mistake is corrected by adding a reversal.
• Deposit/withdrawal requests and orders: direction, amount, status, payout network and address, on-chain transaction id, and the admin and time that handled it. Admin-issued score adjustments and compensations are recorded the same way.
• Tables and hands: room details, seat and stack snapshots, each participant’s starting and final stack and net change, and room lifecycle events. Hole cards and board cards are not stored; cards only live in the running game process and in the hand history inside your own browser.
• Support and risk control: the tickets you submit, risk restrictions, incident handling records, and admin action audits.

What the platform does not do

No advertising, no user profiling, no selling player data to third parties, and no third-party analytics or tracking scripts on player pages. Your hole cards, hand history and other gameplay content are never uploaded, and the platform servers do not forward player data to outside services. Deposits and withdrawals are reconciled manually by admins against on-chain transfers; the platform holds no private keys and never sends on-chain payments automatically.

Third-party communication only when you trigger it

Translation: when you tap the translate button (🌐) on a chat message or a forum post, the text goes from your browser directly to Google Translate, or to MyMemory if that fails. Nothing is sent unless you tap, and the feature can be turned off in Advanced options.

External links: links to pokerth.net, GitHub or gnu.org in the help, about, forum and licence pages are opened by your browser only when you click them; the platform server does not visit those sites for you.

How long data is kept

Accounts, balances, ledger, deposit/withdrawal orders, table and hand records, tickets, risk-control and audit records are financial and business facts: they are kept long term and included in database backups, and they are not removed by routine log cleanup. Runtime logs and crash dumps rotate according to the retention policy, and login rate-limit rows are deleted within 24 hours. Server logs may contain technical connection details, used only for troubleshooting and security.

Your rights and contact

You can view your balance, score ledger, deposit/withdrawal orders and profile in your account at any time, and change your nickname, avatar and password. To access, correct, export or delete your account data, contact the platform operator through the support tickets in your account. Admins only see what handling a ticket requires, and every back-office action is written to the audit log.
